Wow...time has flown by! It seems like the Ohio Alliance for Public Charter Schools was just introduced, and here we are coming to the end of the first fiscal year.
The school year, for most of you, is completed and now it is time to finish up the year-end reports, finalize staffing needs for the start of next year and look forward to some much needed rest and relaxation. School is out and the General Assembly is not in session, because of that, Insight Online will take a break from your inbox until Aug. 5, 2008.
During the break in July, the OAPCS will continue to monitor activities that would be in your interest. In addition, the conference planning will continue and the charter school directory (make sure you have sent in this form and return by June 30, 2008) will be in development.
Have a wonderful break! Don't forget to visit the Web site after July 1 to review our changes. Your user name and password will be sent to you via email and regular mail.
P.S. Don't forget the Ohio Auditor of State's office will present Community School Training to be held in two regional locations:
- Aug. 15, 2008 University of Dayton, Student Union
- Aug. 19, 2008 Kings Island Resort Center
Registration materials and additional information will be shared as soon as they are known to us. The cost of this conference is $25.00 per person. 7.5 CPE hours will be available.
