  From the Haslam Inaugural Committee 2011  
  Please review the message below from Kim Kaegi, the Executive Director of the Haslam Inaugural Committee 2011, Inc.  The Inauguration of the 49th Governor of the State of Tennessee presents members of the hospitality industry with a unique opportunity to sponsor a variety of events in January 2011.  The Tennessee Hospitality Association would like to present all of the hospitality industry checks at one time to the Haslam Inaugural Committee.  If you would like to make a contribution, please make your check payable to the Haslam Inaugural Committee 2011, Inc., and mail it to the the Tennessee Hospitality Association at 500 Interstate Boulevard South, Suite 304, Nashville, TN  37210.  If you would like to mail your checks directly to the Committee, please review the information below.  There are restrictions on the contributions, but this is one instance when corporate contributions are allowed (see guidelines below).  As always, the Tennessee Hospitality Association appreciates your support, and we look forward to working with you in 2011!

The Inauguration of Bill Haslam as the 49th Governor of the State of Tennessee will take place in Nashville the weekend of January 14.  We hope you are making plans to join us.  Many of the events are free and open to the public with a few available at a modest ticket price.  Additionally, Bill and Crissy will host a private dinner for supporters making the maximum contribution to the Inaugural Committee.  A current schedule of events and contribution guidelines are below.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Kendall Green or Jennings Harlan at (615) 690-8668.

8:00 PM - "All Together Now" Benefit Concert at Municipal Auditorium
(Casual Attire)

Saturday, January 15
8:30 AM - Prayer Service at War Memorial Building
(Business Attire)

11:00 AM - Inaugural Ceremony and Parade at Legislative Plaza
(Business Attire)

5:00 PM - Co-Chair's & Patron's Reception at Gaylord Opryland Resort
Co-Chair's raising $50,000; Patrons raising $25,000
(Business Attire/Black Tie Optional)

6:00 PM - Sponsor's Dinner at Gaylord Opryland Resort
Cost:  $2,500/Person; $5,000/Couple
(Business Attire/Black Tie Optional)

6:30 PM - First Couple's Celebration Dinner & Dance at Gaylord Opryland Resort
Cost:  $250/Person
(Business Attire/Black Tie Optional)

8:00 PM - Inaugural Ball at Gaylord Opryland Resort
Cost:  $50/Person

Contribution Guidelines:

- Individuals may contribute up to $2,500.  Couples may contribute up to $5,000.
- LLC's & LLP's are eligible to contribute up to $2,500.
- PAC's may contribute up to $7,500.
- Corporations & Executive Officers of the Corporation (for example:  CEO, CFO, COO, President, Treasurer, Chairman) are eligible to contribute up to $7,500 in aggregate.  If the corporation gives $7,500, the officers are prohibited from making additional contributions.  If the corporation does not contribute, the officers may contribute up to $7,500 (from one or more individuals).  The spouses of the executives, who are not corporate officers, may contribute up to $2,500.
- A corporation with a PAC registered with the state may contribute up to $7,500 from each account for a total of $15,000.

Please make all contributions payable to Haslam Inaugural Committee 2011, Inc., and mail to 1701 West End Avenue, Suite 300, Nashville, TN  37203.
