Thank you for voting for the immediate and future health, success and happiness of our children! I appreciate your stand against the liberal interests groups who pushed for this bill. I do not want to see local control of Human Growth & Development (HG&D) programs stripped away by this state mandate. Organizations and individuals who advocate for so-called "safe-sex" and "reproductive choice" do not have the best interests of our children at heart and are ignoring the facts, science and medical and psychological research on this topic. I believe that an abstinence-centered curriculum that teaches, among other things, the responsibilities of marriage and parenting, as well as the emotional, physical and psychological consequences of casual, non-marital sex is in the best interests of our children. Thank you, again, for your vote and your stand for our children.
