Request: Ask your Senate and House members to support HB1512 and accompanying budget amendment Item 304 #7h (Delegate Adams) and to urge the Senate and House to pass this vital legislation.  This legislation is crucial to ensure access to complex rehabilitation technology (CRT) wheelchairs for Medicaid recipients residing in a nursing facility.

This legislation would direct DMAS to cover CRT wheelchair equipment and accessories for Medicaid recipients residing in a nursing facility in Virginia. 

We urge the passage of HB1512 and accompanying budget amendment Item 304 #7h (Delegate Adams), that will enable access to quality and medically appropriate CRT products and services to individuals covered by Medicaid who reside in a nursing facility in Virginia.
