Support Virginia Medicaid Coverage of CRT in Nursing Facilities
Request: Ask your Senate and House members to support HB1512 and accompanying budget amendment Item 304 #7h (Delegate Adams) and to urge the Senate and House to pass this vital legislation.  This legislation is crucial to ensure access to complex rehabilitation technology (CRT) wheelchairs for Medicaid recipients residing in a nursing facility.

This legislation would direct DMAS to cover CRT wheelchair equipment and accessories for Medicaid recipients residing in a nursing facility in Virginia.

We urge the passage of HB1512 and accompanying budget amendment Item 304 #7h (Delegate Adams), that will enable access to quality and medically appropriate CRT products and services to individuals covered by Medicaid who reside in a nursing facility in Virginia.

The United Spinal Association of Virginia, Atlantic Coast Medical Equipment Services Association (ACMESA), and the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) would like to thank Delegate Dawn Adams and other patrons for their support.

A pre-written message is shown on the right-hand side of the page; you are encouraged to add information to that message about how this legislation is important to you.  Please also share this link with your colleagues and contacts and ask them to take action.
