Action Needed! Ask Your Legislators to Support LD 1184 before May 10 Floor Vote
Ask your representatives in the Maine legislature to exempt durable medical equipment, breast pumps, and mobility enhancing equipment and pass LD 1184 (Jackson).

On May 7, the Appropriations Committee voted to advance the bill by a bipartisan 8-2 margin, setting the stage for consideration by the full legislature on Friday, May 10!  Outreach to your Senators/Representatives is needed now to help secure passage.

By exempting taxes on durable medical equipment, Maine can strengthen access to cost-effective, clinically proven, and patient-preferred home-based care.

A pre-written message is shown on the right-hand side of the page; you are encouraged to add information to that message about your company’s work providing medical equipment and supplies in Maine

Please take action today and also share this link with your colleagues and contacts and ask them to take action.

Thank you for your advocacy and support for high-quality home-based care in Maine!
