Ask Congress to Weigh in with CMS on the Flawed DMEPOS/Home Health Rule
AAHomecare and other HME stakeholders remain fully engaged in efforts to reach key decision makers in the Administration regarding the proposal to restart the DME Competitive Bidding Program that employs a badly designed framework and expands the program into new product categories.

In recent meetings, we’ve seen that discussion of the potential impacts on small businesses is of particular interest to members of the Administration and is also well-received on Capitol Hill.

Please share a message with your Senators and Representative asking them to weigh in with CMS on the bidding program.  This outreach will help amplify our messages in ongoing meetings with the Administration.

You are encouraged to add your own perspectives to the pre-drafted letter at right – and to encourage your friends and colleagues to contact their legislators, as well.

You can learn more about the Proposed Rule’s potential impacts on Small Businesses here, as well as the failure of CMS to consider those impacts in developing the Rule.

CMS could release the Final Rule as soon as October 31, so please take action today.

Thank you for lending your voice to our advocacy to make sure the next round of the bidding program protects patients and providers alike.
