Raise the Volume on Call to Delay DMEPOS Provisions in Final Rule
BREAKING NEWS: CMS has not yet released the consequential 2026 DMEPOS/Home Health Final Rule, which was originally expected on October 31.

The timeline for announcing the Final Rule is not clear at this time – but this delay gives HME stakeholders a fresh opportunity to amplify the messages AAHomecare and other industry advocates have been sharing with the Administration and on Capitol Hill over the past two months.

Please send a message to your Representative and Senators asking them to weigh in with CMS in support of withdrawing or delaying the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program provisions in the DMEPOS/Home Health Proposed Rule and re-engage with industry, patient, and clinical stakeholders to develop a better framework for the program.

You are encouraged to add your own perspectives to the pre-drafted letter at right – and to encourage your friends and colleagues to contact their legislators, as well.

You can draw from our Issue Brief or our CBP Small Business Impacts fact sheet to further develop your messages.

CMS could release the Final Rule at any time, so please take action today.

Thank you for lending your voice to our advocacy to make sure the next round of the bidding program protects patients and providers alike.
