Next week, the Florida Academy of PAs (FAPA) will host its annual Legislative Advocacy Days at the Florida State Capitol, and we want to see you there!
Tuesday, January 20
Wednesday, January 21
Thursday, January 22
On each of these days, PAs from across the state will gather in Tallahassee to meet with legislators and advocate for policies that strengthen our profession and improve patient care. Even attending for just one day makes a meaningful impact.
Why attend?
• Advocate for critical legislation affecting PAs, such as Senate Bill 668, which would remove supervision requirements for PAs with more than 3,000 hours of experience.
• Build relationships with your elected officials.
• Connect with fellow PAs, students, and advocates who share your passion for the profession.
• Help shape the future of PA practice in Florida.
Who can attend?
All are welcome, including pre-PAs, PA students, and practicing PAs. No prior advocacy experience is required. FAPA will provide guidance and support to help you feel confident and prepared.
