We need your voice. Our peer society, AIMBE, has released three new congressional advocacy letters on urgent issues impacting the future of biomedical research and innovation and we need your help sending them to your lawmakers. Send these letters now to your elected officials, urging them to:
Protect the STEM Training Pipeline
Urge Congress to support federal training programs like NIH’s MOSAIC and others that help build a diverse and sustainable scientific workforce.
Oppose Indirect Cost Caps
Tell lawmakers to reject arbitrary caps on indirect cost reimbursements at NSF and NIH, which would undercut the ability of research institutions to support critical scientific infrastructure.
Support Research Funding in FY2026
Call on Congress to finalize the FY2026 budget on time and with strong funding for NIH, NSF, FDA, ARPA-H, and other agencies that support biomedical research by rejecting proposed cuts that threaten medical progress and public health.
Take action today by sending these letters directly to your representatives. It only takes a few minutes—you can edit and personalize the letters for your specific needs. Visit their action center to view all active AIMBE letters.
Your outreach can make a real difference in protecting research funding, training the next generation of innovators, and ensuring the U.S. remains a global leader in science and health.
Thank you for being a strong voice for biomedical innovation.
