Support Low-income Students by Fixing the Pell Grant Tax in Reconciliation
Congress must hear from students, faculty, alumni, and others who care about access to higher education as the Senate considers the House version of reconciliation bill that would raise costs for college students. Unfortunately, meaningful change to enhance access for low-income college students by repealing the taxability of Pell Grants was not included in the House reconciliation bill.  The Senate now has an opportunity to correct that.
