The Senate recently passed a Continuing Resolution (CR; HR 6500) to fund the federal government through December 11, 2026. Section 157 of the CR includes a provision that would prevent the Administration from finalizing or implementing the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) proposed rule on Regulation of Federal Financial Assistance through the duration of the CR (12/11/2026).

However, this only happens if the House passes the same bill when they return in September and the President signs it.

Your help is needed to ensure that the OMB rule delay provision is included in the final CR that is passed and signed by the President. Please use the following template to send a letter to your elected officials urging them to 1) support this provision and 2) encourage the Administration to withdraw the proposed rule altogether.
