We need your help raising awareness and garnering support for the Michigan Momnibus legislative package. There could be a vote as early as this Thursday, November 7th. This critically important legislation would address racial disparities in maternal healthcare and includes measures to increase access to midwives and midwifery-led care, track and report biased perinatal care, create a patient reporting system for obstetric racism, and expand civil rights protections to include pregnancy and lactation status in Michigan.
It is important that we have as many supporters weigh-in with their House and Senate members this week. We have made it easy by including a form letter that can be edited to reflect your opinion in support of the Momnibus package.
