As the Senate considers its upcoming budget reconciliation bill, we urge them to include the Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA) and adopt provisions that will ensure robust religious liberty protections, longer program terms, and meaningful participation from corporate donors. These steps are essential to removing barriers for religious schools and expanding access to educational opportunity for students in all 50 states.

Specifically, we are urging the Senate to:

• Include explicit protections for religious liberty to ensure that faith-based schools can participate fully without compromising their beliefs or mission.
• Eliminate any  language that would disqualify or burden religious schools.
• Maintain $10 billion in annual tax credits for individuals and corporate donors to fund student scholarships.
• Preserve a 10-year runway for the program to provide long-term stability and sustained impact.
