Tell Governor Little to Opt Idaho Into the Federal Education Scholarship Tax Credit Program
Idaho families stand to benefit enormously from the new Federal Education Scholarship Tax Credit Program, but only if Governor Brad Little chooses to opt the state in. This program, passed as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill, allows students to receive scholarship support at no cost to the state. All funding comes from voluntary federal-level tax credit donations, meaning there are no new state mandates and no impact on Idaho’s budget.

By opting in, Idaho could expand educational opportunities for working- and middle-class families, support parents’ rights, and strengthen Christian, private, and public schools statewide.

Governor Little’s leadership has consistently supported parental choice, educational freedom, and strong communities. This is an opportunity for Idaho to continue leading, ensuring families have the same access to opportunity as those in states already opting in.
