The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is providing very short notice that would eliminate access to the GUIDE dementia care program for Medicare beneficiaries who reside in memory care units of residential care communities.
As a member of the GUIDE Care Team, you understand that these changes by CMS will eliminate your ability to continue helping your residents with care coordination, caregiver training, respite support, and the structured dementia care model that GUIDE was designed to provide.
We are asking you to take a moment today to contact your members of Congress and urge them to press CMS to reverse this decision.
