Tell Your State Senator to Amend House Bill 534
Earlier this legislative session, the state house passed House Bill 534 but with Committee Substitute 2, which dramatically changed the legislation.

There are two issues with the committee substitute version of the legislation.

  1.  It allows someone that the federal government says is a non-citizen up to four years to provide proof of citizenship before being removed from the voter rolls
  2.  It allows those suspected non-citizens to vote in Kentucky elections if they can provide their birth certificate, certificate of naturalization, or American passport at the voting location during an election
