Stop Senate Proposal to Slash Housing Allowances for Dual-Military Couples
Section 603 of the Senate Armed Services Committee's FY 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), S. 1519, includes a provision that would cut BAH for dual-military couples to the "without dependents rate" even if they have children.

In effect, a service member married to another service member with children would lose hundreds of dollars each month.

While the House version of the NDAA, H.R. 2810, carries no such provision, this will likely be a conference item later in the year.  Now is the time to begin communicating with your Senators that this provision is destructive and unwarranted-and must be stopped.
Please urge your Senators to stop this unfair provision.
