You’re Invited: AKC DDTF Webinar on Impacts of Covid-19 on the Working Dog Industry
April 12, 2022 by AKC Government Relations

The AKC Detection Dog Task Force (DDTF) is pleased to host a discussion, on April 20,  of the Impacts of the global Covid-19 pandemic on the working dog industry. The webinar will highlight on how one canine industry leader negotiated the many impacts associated with the changing demand for canine detection services and sales during the pandemic.

The AKC Detection Dog Task Force is dedicated to highlighting those in the industry who are committed to producing high-quality, American-bred, -raised and -trained detection dogs to protect U.S. national and public security.

Lane Kjellsen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of K2 Solutions will be featured in this discussion. Sergeant Major (retired) Kjellsen is a former Special Forces Communications Sergeant (18E), and served for 18 years as a special operations warfighter—with 13 of those years in a Special Missions Unit. Learn how K2 Solutions navigated shutdowns worldwide, while preparing for an increase in demand for canine sales and services once the economy started to reopen.

The online event will take place Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 7:30pm ET. The session will last less than an hour.

Please register here for this program and submit up to three questions that can be addressed during the discussion.
