CALL TO ACTION: Contact your legislators to educate them on what a psychologist is and why psychologists matter!
Contact your legislators to educate them on what a psychologist is, how psychologists differ from other behavioral health providers, and what we can offer them as constituent psychologists as they start the legislative session!

Psychologists: your voice matters this legislative session. Studies show many people — often more than half in public surveys — confuse psychologists with other behavioral health providers. Reach out to your state legislators now to clarify who you are, how psychologists differ (training in assessment, diagnosis, evidence-based therapy, program evaluation, and research vs. other providers’ roles), and how you can help craft effective mental health policy and community programs.
