US Take Action: We need Dave Weldon MD as head of the CDC
America needs Dave Weldon MD to be confirmed as the next Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). After a succession of overt liars and grifters in charge, the reputation of the CDC is in tatters as the result of years of gaslighting and plain, overt lying about COVID. But the rot that converted one of our key public health agencies into a propaganda mill for the vaccine industry it is supposed to regulate in the public interest started decades ago.

As a member of Congress more than 20 years ago, Dave Weldon was one of the first voices to call out the surging autism epidemic, and the use of deeply flawed and obviously bogus studies to claim no connection between vaccines and autism causation.

If we are going to achieve any real reform, we must have a person of integrity, courage and ability at the head of the CDC. Dave Weldon is an obvious choice for the job.

The US Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee will be holding a hearing on Weldon’s confirmation this Thursday at 10 am.

In 2004, Weldon issued a scathing statement on the gross failures of the research coming out of the CDC on autism and vaccines.

One of the CDC’s most spectacular failures is that, after 30 years of exploding autism rates, the CDC still claims it cannot determine if there has been a real increase. 1n 2004, Weldon was horrified when the official numbers were 1 in 167. Now it is 1 in 36, and the CDC still claims they cannot tell if it is a real increase or not.

In 2004, the CDC had only studied one vaccine, the measles/mumps/rubella shot, and one vaccine ingredient, thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, for correlation with autism. Twenty years later there have been no further CDC studies done on vaccines and autism.

Weldon also criticized the CDC for:

  • Conflicts of Interests among contracted CDC researchers commissioned to study vaccine safety,
  • Conflicts of interest at the CDC itself as the largest purchaser of vaccines in the US.
  • Ignoring glaring errors in studies that obviously supported pre-determined desired outcomes,
  • Manipulating study design to achieve pre-determined desired outcomes.
  • Relying on studies that are impossible to reproduce, and therefore useless, to form policy,
  • Relying on studies where the raw data was not preserved by the CDC in violation of federal law,
  • Denying independent researchers access to CDC data sets,
  • Falsely presenting studies with no definite conclusion as exonerating vaccines as a cause of autism.

Weldon’s criticisms still apply today, but in the interim there have been millions more avoidable vaccine injuries.
