In an apparent reversal of a policy adopted earlier this year to avoid discussion or action on vaccines, recent media reports say that the President has urged HHS Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr to take more aggressive action on vaccine issues and autism. 

We want to encourage an executive order the president to issue an executive order that calls for honest research on vaccines and autism. As legal action by ICAN has revealed, the CDC has only studied one vaccine (MMR) and one vaccine ingredient, Thimerosal. Those studies include several that are either irreproducible, therefore not credible, or likely fraudulent.

We need federal protection of the fundamental right of parents to decide what is injected into the bodies of their minor children without coercion from states, schools, local governments or anyone else.

TAKE ACTION

Use the panel to the right to send a message to the White House encouraging the President to aggressively expand honest, transparent and reproducible research into vaccines as a cause of autism, and to expand parents’ right to refuse any vaccine for their minor children.

The President’s alleged action follows in the wake of the introduction of the GRACE Act (HR 5075/S5128) in the Senate, matching an older House bill that would force states that do not offer exemptions for religious reasons from school vaccine mandates to choose between federal funds or continue to deny basic rights, they can not have both. 

Earlier in the spring, a group of House members sent a letter to the President calling for an executive order providing parents'’ ultimate choice on what vaccines their children receive.

Whitehouse sources have not confirmed or denied the reports. “President Trump has been clear: America ​must have the best childhood vaccine schedule in the world," White House spokesman Kush Desai said in a statement. "The Administration remains steadfastly committed to delivering on this presidential priority with Gold Standard Science ​for the countless parents whose questions and concerns about vaccinations have been ignored or ​mocked.”
