Dear :
Arizona lawmakers are considering HB 2251, a bill that would expand the scope of practice for licensed midwives.
This legislation would allow licensed midwives to administer certain medications and provide additional clinical services during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Expanding these services can help improve access to maternal healthcare, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
The bill has already passed the House and is now under consideration in the Senate, where it may soon receive a final vote.
We urge you to contact your State Senator and ask them to support this important legislation.
Sincerely,
Karina Collins
