Take Action: Protect Access to Reproductive Healthcare
Massachusetts lawmakers are considering S 1244, a bill that would strengthen access to reproductive healthcare services and emergency care.

This legislation would require hospitals to provide necessary treatment for pregnancy-related emergencies, including complications such as ectopic pregnancy or pregnancy loss, and allow a broader range of qualified providers to deliver care. These changes help ensure timely, appropriate treatment for patients.

The bill has advanced to the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing. We urge you to contact your Senate and House Members on this committee and ask them to support this legislation.
