Delaware lawmakers are considering HB 272, a bill that would strengthen protections for patients and providers accessing reproductive health services.

This legislation would establish penalties for interference with care, including the use of force, threats, or physical obstruction, and allow individuals and the state to take legal action against those who disrupt access. These protections help ensure healthcare settings remain safe and accessible for both patients and providers.

The bill has passed the House and is now under consideration in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
