Take Action: Protect Timely Access to Care in Delaware
Delaware lawmakers are considering SB 252, a bill that would add new procedural requirements before abortion care can be provided.

This legislation would require providers to offer ultrasound imaging and fetal heart tone monitoring and obtain signed patient acknowledgment prior to care. While patients may decline, these additional steps could create delays and add complexity to the care process.

The bill is currently under consideration in the Senate Health & Social Services Committee.

We urge you to contact your State Senator on the Health & Social Services Committee and ask them to oppose this legislation.

Sincerely,
Karina Collins
