Take Action: Expand APRN Practice Authority in New Jersey
New Jersey lawmakers are considering A 4052, a bill that would expand the scope of practice for advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs).

This legislation would allow experienced APRNs to provide care more independently, including diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications without certain physician oversight requirements. Expanding the scope of practice can improve access to care, particularly in primary and behavioral health settings.

The bill has advanced through committee and is now under consideration in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.

We urge you to contact your State Assemblymember and ask them to support this legislation.

Sincerely,
Karina Collins
