Thank Delaware Policymakers for Recognizing Black Maternal Health Awareness Week
Delaware recently adopted HCR 109, officially recognizing April 11–17 as Black Maternal Health Awareness Week.

This resolution highlights the importance of addressing disparities in maternal health outcomes and raising awareness of the challenges faced by Black mothers and families. It also encourages community members, healthcare professionals, and organizations across Delaware to participate in efforts that promote maternal health, safety, and equity.

We encourage you to reach out to the policymakers who supported this resolution and thank them for their leadership in advancing awareness of maternal health disparities and improving outcomes for families across Delaware.
