Thank Massachusetts Policymakers for Prioritizing Patient Access to Care
Massachusetts recently enacted H 5595, strengthening protections for patients and supporting clinical decision-making in healthcare.

This law affirms that abortion care decisions should be guided by the professional judgment of the treating physician and the patient. It also ensures that medical review processes cannot override the clinical judgment of a treating physician when providing care consistent with state law.

We encourage you to reach out to the policymakers who supported this legislation and thank them for their leadership in protecting patient access to care and supporting evidence-based clinical decision-making.

Sincerely,

Karina Collins | State Government Affairs Specialist
