Oppose Ohio HB 347
Ohio lawmakers are considering HB 347, the SHE WINS Act, legislation that would impose extensive new requirements related to abortion care.

This bill would require a 24-hour waiting period, mandate specific counseling and disclosures before care can be provided, establish extensive documentation requirements, and create significant civil liability for providers, including statutory damages of at least $100,000 per claim in certain cases. These changes could create additional barriers to timely care and increase administrative burdens for healthcare providers and care teams.

The bill has passed the House and is currently under consideration in the Senate Health Committee.

We urge you to contact your State Senator and members of the Senate Health Committee and ask them to oppose HB 347.

Sincerely,
Karina Collins | State Government Affairs Specialist
