Take Action: Vote YES on Idaho Proposition 1
Idaho voters will have the opportunity to vote on Proposition 1, the Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act Initiative, during the 2026 election season.

This ballot measure would establish a right to reproductive freedom and privacy, protecting personal healthcare decisions related to abortion, childbirth care, contraception, fertility treatment, miscarriage care, and prenatal and postpartum care.

Proposition 1 would allow the state to regulate abortion after fetal viability while preserving access in cases of medical emergency. The measure would also protect healthcare providers from professional discipline, criminal penalties, or civil liability for providing care consistent with an individual's right to reproductive freedom and privacy.

By protecting patient-provider decision-making and access to essential reproductive healthcare services, Proposition 1 would help ensure Idahoans can make personal healthcare decisions in consultation with their healthcare providers.

We encourage you to make a plan to vote and support Proposition 1 during the 2026 election season. Whether you choose to vote early or cast your ballot on Election Day, November 3, 2026, your vote can help protect access to reproductive healthcare and patient-provider decision-making in Idaho.

Sincerely,
Karina Collins | State Government Affairs Specialist
