Denounce pro-Russian narrow interests group gala in Boston
Dear Friend,

Please take a minute to send this letter to your elected officials and local media denouncing ANCA's gala celebration of 3-decades long occupation of Azerbaijani territories to be held in Boston on December 2 (

Thank you!

As the federal investigation into Russia's interference in US presidential elections intensifies, an ethnic lobbying group promoting interests of Russia's client state Armenia continues to undermine national interests of US and its allies. On December 2, Armenian National Committee of America will hold a reception at the International Place, in Boston, honoring Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories. During the gala, the lobbysts will whitewash the military occupation of Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in 1992-94 accompanied with extreme brutality against Azeri civilians and ethnic cleansing campaign resulting in expulsion of over 750 thousand Azeris from their historical lands.

In the second half of 2016, Armenia received a $200-million loan from Moscow which it spent on the purchase of hypersonic Iskander-M (SS-26 Stone) ballistic missiles (range of up to 310 mi) which can reach the energy infrastructure of Azerbaijan and NATO facilities in Turkey ( Armenia has become a military outpost of Russia as the only country in greater post-Soviet periphery which hosts a Russian military base until 2044 ( and has a unified Russo-Armenian air defense. So obvious is Armenia's anti-Western position that its President Sargsyan openly declared in 2015 that Armenia will "coordinate its foreign policy with Russia" (, rendering its ties with Washington unimportant.

Azerbaijan's vital infrastructure includes a number of energy pipelines and other facilities operated by Western energy companies to deliver to the much needed energy needs of Europe, highly dependent on Russia. Energy pipelines serve as the backbone of Europe's energy security, and importantly, 40% of Israel's oil imports. Needless to say, Moscow is unhappy about Azerbaijan's cooperation with the West.

We must stop Kremlin's proxy Armenia from threatening our allies Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. And we must stop allowing narrow interest groups like ANCA lure our legislators to participate in their activities. Our government must express concern and pressure the Armenian government to fully implement provisions of UN Security Council resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884, demanding immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian troops from Azerbaijan's occupied territories.
