This Christmas Boycott Dick's: DON'T HELP FUND EMPLOYEE ABORTIONS!

Before you go Christmas shopping this year, please SIGN and SHARE this petition, and consider boycotting Dick's Sporting Goods.

Don't give your hard-earned money to a company which loudly declared that they will fund employee abortions!

Just after the Supreme Court delivered its opinion overturning Roe vs. Wade, executives at Dick's Sporting Goods announced that the company will provide upto $4,000 in abortion-related travel expenses to employees seeking to get around pro-life laws that protect the right to life of preborn babies.

This is totally unacceptable, and that's why the Personhood Alliance and American ProLifer are joining forces this Christmas to call for a boycott of Dick's.

Please SIGN and SHARE this boycott petition* to Dick's senior management informing them that because of their policies which promote abortion - the deliberate taking of innocent human life - we will take our sporting goods business elsewhere this Christmas.

[*This petition will be hand-delivered to Dick's Headquarters, just outside Pittsburgh, PA.]

While several big names in corporate America have made similar decisions, seeing Dick's among them is a shock, especially since so many families patronize the massive sporting goods retailer for their childrens' sporting needs.

But, conservatives and Christians can neither support nor facilitate abortion in good conscience.

This Christmas, please tell Dick's that we will not give them our hard-earned money so that they can pay for their employees can abort their children.

Contrary to what Dick's says about abortion being "safe," everyone knows that a medical procedure in which a person always dies can hardly be considered safe.

Indeed, this appears to be a deeply cynical and extremely short-sighted financial decision by Dick's senior management where they seem highly motivated to avoid the extra costs associated with childbirth, maternity leave and adding an extra name onto the rolls of the company's health insurance plan.

But, at Christmas time, maternity and childbirth should be embraced and given pride of place.

Thank you for SIGNING and SHARING this boycott petition to Dick's senior management pledging to shop elsewhere for your sporting goods needs this Christmas, because of the company's policies which promote abortion - the deliberate taking of innocent human life.

Please send Dick's President and CEO, Lauren Hobart, and Dick's Executive Chairman and former CEO, Edward Stack, the son of Dick's founder, Dick Stack, a strong message of displeasure at their promotion and facilitation of abortion.

Tell them that you won't frequent Dick's this Christmas and support their life-taking policies with your hard-earned dollars.

And, remember, this petition will be hand-delivered to Dick's Headquarters, just outside Pittsburgh, PA. Thank you!

Petition Text

We, the undersigned, pledge to boycott Dick's Sporting Goods this Christmas because of the company's new policy to facilitate the abortions of its workforce.

This horrific new policy is cynical and short-sighted, and not at all in keeping with Christmas.

Whereas Dick's should be concerned about promoting the futures of the next generation of sportsmen and women, this policy is designed to cut short their lives - at their most vulnerable and innocent.

For conservatives and Christians, this is unacceptable, and I will not give Dick's my hard-earned dollars this Christmas, just so the company can turn around and pay $4000 for one of their employees to take the life of their preborn children.

Nowadays, there are a plethora of alternatives for sporting goods shopping, including local or online venues. This Christmas, I will choose to take my business elsewhere.

Thank you for rescinding this life-destroying policy as soon as possible.
