It takes less than a minute to do!
Every year, Congress plans a budget for the federal government’s programs and services. Right now, Congress is working on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year that starts on October 1.
The limb loss and limb difference community is coming together to ask Congress to provide $4.2 million in funding for the National Limb Loss Resource Center®. This is a $200,000 increase from what the NLLRC received this year. The President’s Budget for FY23 was also released at the end of March and it included a $200,000 increase.
With the program’s strong bipartisan background of support and with your specific requests for Congress to increase funding for the program, we hope our combined advocacy efforts will be successful. Please share your personal experience your Members of Congress today!
