On June 30, the Federal Aviation Administration announced the award of nearly $800 million for 383 grants for airport development. This includes $698 million in FY 2019 Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants and $104.4 million in CARES Act grants. The CARES Act grants can be used to cover 100 percent of project costs.
