Federal Government Working to Implement Great American Outdoors Act

In response to the recent passage of the Great American Outdoors Act, the Department of Interior created a task force to identify and prioritize a list of projects, including roads, parking lots, and trails in the country's national park system and other public lands. The group is led by Margaret Everson, the new head of the National Parks Service. The task force will identify an initial list of priority deferred maintenance projects that are ready to be implemented in fiscal year 2021.
