This bill would establish a five-year pilot program providing competitive grants to nonprofits, community health centers, and hospitals to deliver evidence-based caregiver skills training. This legislation would deliver crucial practical training through local organizations to help caregivers build skills, reduce stress, and improve outcomes for their children. These programs are designed to equip family caregivers with the tools they need to strengthen communication, manage behaviors, reduce stress, and improve outcomes for children. 

The Autism Society and our network of affiliates understand how difficult it is for families to navigate the world of Autism services and supports. This bill would be a crucial step in helping support communities.
