Authorities safely removed a car that crashed into fuel pumps at a gas station in Ridgewood on Sunday afternoon.

The car hit the pumps at an Exxon station on Route 17, Ridgewood firefighters said on Facebook.

No injuries were reported, and fire officers were able to safely shut down the fuel system. A towing company removed the vehicle once the area was deemed safe.

The vehicle was turning right into the Exxon lot when a tire struck a curb, causing the driver to lose control and strike the gas pumps, said Ridgewood police Capt. Glenn Ender.
