Charity Hill

Charity Hill, 43, of Bluff City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, following a lengthy, courageous battle with her health. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, she lived most of her life in this area. A follower of Jesus, she was a friend of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church. Charity was an avid lover of animals. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who in spite of her health issues was always supportive, caring, and thoughtful to others.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Shirley Tolley; and brother, David Hamm.

Charity is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Hill; two sons, Gavyn and Hudson; mother, Darlene Tori Barnard; two sisters, Chasity Foster and Lisa Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Ferguson and Pastor Kenneth Hill officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Holston View Cemetery.
