Last year the Trump Administration cut our teen pregnancy prevention program, which would deny health education for 20,000 of our students.

So we sued the Trump administration. And we won.

I fought the Trump Administration and when they tried to impose a gag rule on what doctors are allowed and not allowed tell our patients only for reproductive health and women’s health.

Reproductive health care is health care. Women's health care is health care and health care has to be understood as a fundamental human right.

I see what’s at stake. Every year 2.4 million patients come to planned parenthood. They don’t come to make a political statement.

Those that would be hurt the most are those who already bear the brunt of health disparities. They are women of low income, of color, they’re LGBTQ individuals, they’re immigrant communities, they are working families.
