On June 17, CAI’s Michigan Legislative Action Committee (MI LAC) will be in Lansing, for its Legislative Advocacy Day, speaking directly to lawmakers about the issues facing our industry. This effort is being led by the CAI MI LAC, a group of community association advocates and leaders from across the state. You can help our efforts - reach out to your legislators today and let them know that CAI will be in town!

The CAI Michigan LAC has been working with legislators to advocate for H.B. 5784’s passage, which would require most condominium associations to conduct reserve studies at least once every five years. If passed, Michigan would join 12 other states requiring reserve studies and promoting CAI’s commitment to condo safety.
