Governor Newsom: Protect PACE in the Final Budget
California's final budget is being negotiated now, and critical decisions affecting older adults who rely on PACE remain unresolved.

The Legislature's budget proposal rejects the Governor's additional reduction to PACE rates and includes funding for additional state nurses to process Level of Care (LOC) determinations. Together, these actions would help protect access to PACE services and reduce enrollment delays for eligible seniors.

We urge Governor Newsom to preserve these provisions in the final budget agreement.
