The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors is considering legislation that would ban the sale of flavored vapor and tobacco products within the unincorporated parts of the county. Although a draft bill is not yet available, County Supervisors are expressing a need to address the issue one way or another due to the flavor ban ordinance passed by the City of Sacramento.
Before a bill is drafted, please take a moment to reach out to your district supervisors and share your story about switching to vaping. CASAA has learned that a few of the county supervisors are on the fence about how severe the new law should be. Your stories can make a difference in how they choose to move forward.
