Say NO to Tolls in Connecticut
The Connecticut House of Representatives is currently debating a two year state budget that will increase a number of taxes and fees on Connecticut residents and businesses. Perhaps most damaging is a $50 million per year tax increase on small businesses through a repeal of the SALT fix implemented just last year.

Existing law imposes an income tax on most pass-through businesses at the entity level, but provides offsetting credits at the personal or corporate income tax level to the pass-through entity's members. Under current law, the tax credit equals a member's direc and indirect pro rata share of the tax paid by the pass-through business, multiplied by 93.01%. The bill reduces the value of the credit by reducing the multiplier to 87.5%.

If you operate a pass-through entity (LLCs, LLps, partnerships, sole proprietoryships, S Corps) this change could be very costly to you.

Contact your legislators immediately and tell them to oppose any additional burdens on our small businesses.
