End the "Remain in Mexico" Policy
In January 2019, the Department of Homeland Security began the "Remain in Mexico" policy, officially known as the "Migrant Protection Protocols."

This policy forces certain asylum seekers, including families, to wait in Mexico while their immigration court proceedings move forward in the United States. This process could take months, even years.

Meanwhile, migrants in Mexico are vulnerable to kidnappings, human trafficking, and sexual assault. Nearly 60,000 people are being forced to wait in these dangerous situations that present many obstacles to applying for asylum- which they have a legal right to do.

As people of faith, we believe that every person has the right to a safe and prosperous life.

Congress has the power to stop this inhumanity! Tell your Members of Congress to stop funding this policy!
