Protect fuel economy standards and the Clean Air Act
President Trump, his Environmental Protection Agency administrator, Andrew Wheeler, and his Department of Transportation secretary, Elaine Chao, along with 13 car companies, are working to weaken fuel economy and clean car standards, which will cost consumers $4,500 per household at the pump. (The car companies are Aston Martin, Ferrari, Fiat Chrysler, General Motors, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Maserati, McLaren, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota.)

This action hurts pocketbooks, our economy, our air quality and our health. It will effectively strip all states of their freedom to control vehicle pollution within their own borders, and goes against the will and wellbeing of the American people. It is important for our voices to be heard.

Let your members of Congress know that you oppose rolling back these money-saving and clean air standards. Ask your Representative and Senators to tell the Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency to withdraw their thoughtless plans to roll back these critically important standards.
