• Expand bariatric surgery eligibility criteria (aligning with national guidelines) so surgery will be covered with a BMI of 30 (with a weight-related comorbidity) or 35 without for large group insurance plans.
• Allow large group plans to offer employers the option to add obesity medications, including at least one GLP-1 medication, to their health insurance plan at an additional cost.
