Last week, Diabetes Advocates took to Capitol Hill to let their members of Congress know that support for people with diabetes or prediabetes is critical.

Personalizing your letter or email is important because individual stories are memorable and can influence your lawmakers’ decisions. When you’re writing, answer this question: “Why do you care about access to health care, affordable medications, and diabetes technology, and federal funding for diabetes research and programs?”
