Economic growth depends on child care. But, too many families in South Dakota struggle to find it. 

Child care programs are closing. Recruiting and retaining staff is hard given the competitive market where staff can earn more working just about anywhere else!  Without sufficient staff, parents struggle to find care. And, that’s if they can afford it!  Employers depend on working parents. Without sufficient child care, SD workforce shortages will continue to grow.

Legislators need to hear from parents that there is no economic growth without child care! Child care providers and parents need help!  Take action today by sending an email to your state legislators to support legislation to address the availability, affordability, and quality of child care!
