Don't let security and life safety systems become vulnerable
Michigan's senators are, again, actively considering legislation that would expand the "Right to Repair" to security and life safety systems, jeopardizing public safety by allowing third parties access to product manuals, repair equipment, and lockout codes for security and life safety devices!

Public safety in Michigan remains a top concern and leaving our devices vulnerable to hacking would greatly worsen the situation.

Legislators might not know the negative impacts of this legislation, but as it is currently written, it threatens the entire electronic security and life safety industry.

Take action now by personalizing and sending a message from our campaign to your legislators.  They need to exempt our industry to protect their constituents and our industry.
