Members of the 119th U.S. Congress have returned from recess.  Prior to the recess, several bills were introduced for your advocacy engagement consideration:

• US S 1756 Conscience Protection Act introduced by Senator James Lankford (Companion House bill US HR 3411).
• S. 1834 and H. 3762 Supporting Healthy Moms and Baby Act sponsored by Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and Representative Jared F. Gordon to provide essential health benefits to include prenatal, childbirth, neonatal, perinatal, and postpartum health care.
• The RESTORE Act (‘‘Reproductive Empowerment and Support through Optimal Restoration Act”) sponsored by Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith.
• US HR 4953 Gender-Affirming Child Abuse Prevention Act sponsored by Representative Nancy Mace to authorize a civil right of action for individuals on whom gender-related medical treatment was performed while such individual was a minor, and for other purposes.
• US HR 4964 Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act, sponsored by Representative David Taylor (and 15 other co-sponsors) to amend title 18 United States Code, to prohibit taking minors across state lines in circumvention of laws requiring the involvement of parents in abortion decisions.
